Nicholas is partner with the firm and director of Human Resource development. He specialized in accounting and VAT related matters. He joined MGI Malta in 1992 after a successful career at Air Malta, Deloitte and Grant Thorton. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Malta, is a Certified Public Accountant with a practicing certificate to act as Auditor as well as a fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants. Nicholas is a dedicated wine maker with several prizes in local wine competitions.

Franco Privitelli

Franco has specialized in accounting, vat and tax related matters, After a successful carrier at Maltacom ( now GO) and Price Waterhouse, Franco joined RG Consultancy Ltd and Gatt,Galea and Co. as director/partner. On 1st January 2010 he joined MGI MALTA as full partner with full responsibility over the audit arm of the MGI Group. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Malta, is a Certified Public Accountant with a practicing certificate to act as auditor as well as a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants. He is also a member of the Malta Institute of Taxation. Franco is a keen sportsman and photographer.

Raymond Gatt

Raymond specializes in management consulting and tax planning and advises both national and international clients.  He is a Certified Public Accountant with a practicing certificate to act as Auditor as well as a fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants.  He is also a member of the Malta Institute of Taxation.

 

Jean Paul Busuttil

Jean Paul has been appointed director of MGI Finconsult Limited, joining directors Nicholas Falzon, Raymond Gatt and Franco Privitelli. He started his accountancy career in 2006 and joined MGI Malta in 2009 as head of advisory.
On a day-to-day basis, he is mainly involved in business advisory, and direct and indirect taxation for both local and foreign clients, accumulating practical knowledge and experience across various industries. Jean Paul sits on the Malta Institute of Accountants’ direct and indirect tax committee.

 

Marion Caruana

Marion has been appointed partner of MGI Malta, joining partner Franco Privitelli. She joined MGI Malta in 1995 and was mainly involved in audits as she accumulated practical knowledge and experience across various industries.

In 2006, she moved to Guernsey with a trust company as senior fund accountant gaining experience in different funds. While working there, she was promoted to team leader, then to officer and finally to second vice-president before moving back to Malta in 2010.

In 2014, she re-joined MGI Malta, this time as head of corporate and compliance. After four years working within this unit, she moved back to her roots as an audit manager. Marion is a fellow member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and sits on the institute’s audit and assurance committee.
